What Are AI Credits?
AI credits are a way to track and manage your usage of AI-powered features in KopplaHQ. Every time you generate content, fact-check articles, or use other AI tools, credits are consumed based on how much processing the AI uses.
Credit Limits by Plan
Your monthly AI credit limit depends on your subscription plan:

Credits reset automatically at the beginning of each month.
How Credits Are Calculated
Each AI operation consumes a certain number of credits based on the content length and the generation workflow you use. Here's a comprehensive overview:

Enhanced workflows include additional features like fact-checking, optimization, or advanced customization that require more processing.
Monitoring Your Credits
You can check your credit usage in two places:
Dashboard
See your credit usage at a glance in the dashboard.
Profile > Account Tab
For detailed usage analytics:
- Go to Profile → Account tab
- View Monthly Usage Analytics showing:
- Total credits used this month
- Credits remaining
- Usage percentage
- Breakdown by AI tool (e.g., content generation, fact-checking)
- Date when credits will reset
What Happens When You Run Out?
When you reach your monthly credit limit, you won't be able to:
- Generate new content
- Use fact-checking tools
- Access other AI-powered features
You have two options:
- Upgrade Your Plan: Switch to a premium plan for higher monthly limits
- Wait for the Next Cycle: Credits automatically reset on the first day of the next month
Currently, there is no option to purchase additional credits separately.
Tips to Manage Credits Wisely
- Plan Your Content: Map out content ideas before generating to avoid multiple attempts
- Use the Right Length: Choose content length based on your actual needs
- Review Before Regenerating: Edit and refine generated content rather than regenerating from scratch
- Batch Content Creation: Generate multiple pieces when you have a full month of credits available
